Kate Beckinsale plays a grown-up Alice, who is transported through the looking glass while reading the story to her daughter. An unusual twist to the well-known story supported by superb special effects.

Tina Majorino and a host of star names appear in this excellent 1999 made-for-TV production which uses state of the art computer techniques to create stunning special effects and backdrops.

Odd and slightly disturbing stop-motion film with live inserts. Made in Czechoslavakia by Jan Svankmajer, it's now achieved cult status!
Not really suitable for very young chidren.
