M.A.N.I.C.S. ON THE MOVE
Two cool chicks on a mission to save the world from marauding rogue inflatables!
Annie Louise in a music video with her friend Harriet.
The video is a spoof on "The Prisoner", a TV series which was filmed at Portmeirion, North Wales where the video was shot as well. Portmeirion is often described as being an "Alice In Wonderland" setting and a giant chessboard, just like the one in "Looking Glass", features in the video.

Alice In Wonderland - starring Jane Asher
Limited quantity available to buy now

Fantastic double-CD re-issue of this classic production housed in a DVD-style case. Both CD's are picture discs with colour artwork. This is a limited unbranded edition. The CDs are unplayed and in brand new condition.

Alice In Wonderland starring Jane Asher with an excellent supporting cast of other British actors. The production dates from 1958 and tells the whole "Wonderland" story. This double CD is in good quality stereo, given the age of the source material. CD-1 covers the story from Alice seeing the White Rabbit for the first time, up to the Duchess and the baby section and ending with Alice's conversation with the Cheshire Cat. CD-2 continues from that point, Alice meets the Mad Hatter, plays croquet with the Queen, talks to the Gryphon and Mock Turtle and then attends the trial of the Knave of Hearts. The production lasts around 80 minutes and, though dramatised, remains very faithfull to Lewis Carroll's original dialogue.

PRICE $24 plus $6.00 shipping to the USA/Canada/worldwide via air mail or $2.00 if within the UK or Europe

ALICE RECREATED
"Twelve-year old Hannah Rosenblatt, with help from her Mother, Mona, gives us an uncanny recreation of Disney's vision of Alice.
These are photos I took of Hannah taken in our back yard in Atlanta Georgia. She is a great fan of Alice and is wearing a costume that I made myself."

ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND

The Fiona Fullerton musical version of "Alice's Adventures In Wonderland" had an unexpected release in the UK earlier in the year. As a promotional item, a free DVD containing the full film was given away with every copy of the "Daily Express" newspaper on Saturday the 2nd of April.
The quality of the DVD is surprisingly good ... there is a little "gate float" and some graininess to the image, but nothing which spoils the enjoyment of the film. Colours are strong and vivid and the sound, though mono, is clear. This DVD is now available for purchase in the UK and is a recommended buy. To obtain further details CLICK HERE.

ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS
Released in early 2005 is "Alice Through The Looking Glass", starring Kate Beckinsale. With an excellent combination of live-action, animation, and special effects, it tells of Alice as she returns to Wonderland, stepping through a magical mirror and being transported from the real world into an enchanted one of talking insects, nonsensical questions, and reversals of logic. Beckinsale's Alice is "A believable blend of curiosity, poise, and impertinence and her presence in nearly every scene carries the film."
NB: This story is based on the Lewis Carroll story the Lewis Carroll story and not a direct adaptation of it.
You can order the DVD by clicking it's picture (far left). This is a region 1 disc (USA/Canada) but will play elsewhere if you have a region-free player or download a hack from the internet.

WHERE CAN I FIND...? HOW MUCH IS THIS WORTH ...?
I'm always very interested in, and appreciative of, any information and material which you send in for inclusion on the website. Such contributions will always be published with due credit given. However, please note that this website is a hobby, nothing more, and despite the large amount of information here I'm not actually an expert on antique books, obscure TV productions or long-deleted sound recordings, nor can I value items, so I regret I'm unable provide more information than is already on the website. Many people email me for information which is already on the website anyway so, if you have a query, may I suggest you search the relevant section to see if the answer is there. For anything which is obscure, out of print or deleted, try Ebay. Apart from that, sorry, I have no other suggestions.

Please email news, views or comments, or if you have any Alice-related material, artwork or articles which you would like to see displayed here.
