| Alice In Wonderland feature film starring Carol Marsh made in 1948 in colour BEHIND THE SCENES |

![]() Carol Marsh looks on as a set dresser adds some final details to the special effects sequence where Alice attempts to climb up the giant table leg. By combining the actress with oversize props like this, the illusion is that she has actually shrunk to a few inches in height. By then putting her among tiny props, she appears to grow to giant size. |
![]() The inhabitants of Wonderland are all puppets in this film. The figures are photographed a frame at a time, with tiny movements made in between. When the film is projected in real time, the figures seem to move of their own accord. |
