Sonja Henie wasn't exactly a definitive 'Alice'. Initially she was as a world-class ice skater, some of her routines found their way to film and she became an actress as well, appearing in many major films and achieving star status. One of her routines happened to be an "Alice In Wonderland" skating extravaganza, which she performed all over the world and this was immortalised on film - in "My Lucky Star" for 20th Century-Fox in 1938.
